Eritreaโs landscape is diverse, featuring coastal plains along the Red Sea, highlands in the central region, and arid lowlands in the west. The central highlands provide a cooler climate compared to the surrounding lowland areas. Eritrea also includes numerous islands in the Red Sea, known as the Dahlak Archipelago.
