Fiji is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean consisting of more than 300 islands, characterized by volcanic mountains, tropical forests, coral reefs, and white-sand beaches.

📍 Fiji is an island country located in Oceania, in the South Pacific Ocean, northeast of Australia and north of New Zealand. It lies east of Vanuatu, west of Tonga, and south of Tuvalu.
As an island nation, Fiji has no land borders and is surrounded entirely by the Pacific Ocean. It consists of more than 300 islands, with the two largest being Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Fiji’s terrain includes mountainous interiors, tropical forests, and coastal plains, along with coral reefs and lagoons surrounding many of the islands.
Its location in the South Pacific has historically made it a hub for regional trade, cultural exchange, and migration among Pacific Island societies. Today, Fiji is known for its rich biodiversity, marine environments, and importance within Oceania.

ISO country codes come from the international standard ISO 3166 created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These codes are used globally in databases, aviation systems, banking, shipping, and international data systems to uniquely identify countries and territories.

ISO 3166-1 codes are the two-letter country codes such as US, FR, or JP. These are called Level-1 ISO codes.

Only ISO 3166-1 codes support flag emojis. Flag emojis are created by combining two Unicode regional indicator letters that match the country's ISO two-letter code.

Fiji is assigned the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code:

FJ

Subdivision codes do not have flag emojis.
