Regions

Ghana is a country in West Africa characterized by coastal plains along the Gulf of Guinea, tropical forests in the south, and savanna landscapes across its northern regions.

📍 Ghana is a country located in West Africa, along the Gulf of Guinea on the Atlantic coast. It is bordered by Ivory Coast to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, and Togo to the east, with a coastline along the Gulf of Guinea to the south.
Ghana’s terrain consists of coastal plains, forested regions in the south, and savanna in the north. The country is home to Lake Volta, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world, which plays a key role in transportation and energy production. Ghana’s coastal position has historically made it an important center for trade and cultural exchange in West Africa, especially during periods of trans-Atlantic commerce.
