The United States of America is a vast country in North America characterized by diverse landscapes including mountain ranges, expansive plains, deserts, forests, river systems, and coastlines along the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and the Gulf of Mexico.

๐Ÿ“ United States of America is a large country located in North America, spanning from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west. It is bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south, with coastlines along the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Gulf of Mexico to the southeast. It also borders Russia across the Bering Strait in Alaska.
The United States includes a wide range of geographic features, such as mountain ranges like the Rockies and Appalachians, vast plains, deserts, forests, and major river systems including the Mississippi River. It also includes non-contiguous regions such as Alaska in the northwest of North America and Hawaii in the central Pacific Ocean.
Its large size and geographic diversity have made it one of the most influential countries in terms of trade, culture, and global impact.

What is an ISO Country Code?

ISO country codes come from the international standard ISO 3166 created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These codes are used worldwide in databases, aviation systems, banking, shipping, and international data systems to uniquely identify countries and territories.

ISO 3166-1 codes are the two-letter country codes such as US, FR, or JP. These are called Level-1 ISO codes.

Only ISO 3166-1 codes support flag emojis. Flag emojis are created by combining two Unicode regional indicator letters that match the countryโ€™s ISO two-letter code.

ISO 3166-2 codes represent states, provinces, or regions. Example: US-AZ = Arizona CA-ON = Ontario Subdivision codes do not have flag emojis.

Official Motto:

"In God We Trust"

(adopted by Congress and signed into law by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on July 30, 1956. It is commonly displayed on U.S. currency and in public buildings. It replaced the de facto, long-standing motto "E Pluribus Unum" ("Out of many, one")

Other Motto:

"E Pluribus Unum"

(Translated from Latin: "Out of many, one", adopted in 1782 for the Great Seal, this Latin phrase means and represents the union of the original 13 colonies.)
