Norway is a country in Northern Europe characterized by rugged mountains, deep fjords along its North Atlantic coastline, vast forests, and Arctic landscapes in the north.

๐Ÿ“ Norway is a country located in Northern Europe, forming part of Scandinavia along the western edge of the Scandinavian Peninsula. It is bordered by Sweden to the east, Finland and Russia to the northeast, with an extensive coastline along the North Sea to the southwest and the Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea to the north.
Norwayโ€™s terrain is highly rugged and mountainous, featuring deep fjords carved by glaciers, high plateaus, and valleys. Much of the population lives along the coast, where the climate is milder due to ocean currents. The interior includes forests and alpine regions.
Norwayโ€™s coastal location and access to the North Atlantic have historically made it important for maritime trade, fishing, and exploration, shaping its culture and economy.

What is an ISO Country Code?

ISO country codes come from the international standard ISO 3166 created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These codes are used worldwide in databases, aviation systems, banking, shipping, and international data systems to uniquely identify countries and territories.

ISO 3166-1 codes are the two-letter country codes such as US, FR, or JP. These are called Level-1 ISO codes.

Only ISO 3166-1 codes support flag emojis. Flag emojis are created by combining two Unicode regional indicator letters that match the countryโ€™s ISO two-letter code.

ISO 3166-2 codes represent states, provinces, or regions. Example: US-AZ = Arizona CA-ON = Ontario Subdivision codes do not have flag emojis.
