Gabon is a country in Central Africa characterized by dense tropical rainforests, coastal plains along the Atlantic Ocean, river systems, and low mountain ranges inland.
๐ Gabon is a country located in Central Africa, situated along the equator on the Atlantic coast. It is bordered by Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, and Republic of the Congo to the east and south, with a coastline along the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
Gabonโs landscape is dominated by dense tropical rainforests that are part of the Congo Basin, along with rivers, coastal plains, and low mountain ranges. The country has a warm, humid climate typical of equatorial regions and is rich in biodiversity. Gabonโs coastal position and natural resources have made it important for trade, particularly in oil and timber, while its forests play a significant role in environmental conservation.
