Kiribati is an island country in the central Pacific Ocean consisting of low-lying coral atolls and islands spread across a vast area of ocean near the equator.

๐Ÿ“ Kiribati is an island country located in Oceania, spread across the central Pacific Ocean along the equator. It is situated east of Papua New Guinea, northeast of Australia, and west of Hawaii in the central Pacific region.
As an island nation, Kiribati has no land borders and is surrounded entirely by the Pacific Ocean. It consists of 33 atolls and reef islands scattered over a vast area, divided into three main groups: the Gilbert Islands, Phoenix Islands, and Line Islands.
Kiribatiโ€™s terrain is extremely low-lying, with most land only a few meters above sea level, making it vulnerable to rising sea levels. Its remote location has shaped its culture and way of life, while its position across the equator gives it a tropical climate. Kiribatiโ€™s geography has historically influenced navigation and settlement across the Pacific.
