Afro-Eurasia is the largest continuous landmass on Earth, uniting Africa, Europe, and Asia into a single interconnected geographic region spanning primarily the Eastern Hemisphere. It is characterized by extraordinary physical and cultural diversity, including major mountain systems such as the Himalayas, the Alps, and the Atlas Mountains, vast deserts like the Sahara, Arabian, and Gobi, extensive river systems such as the Nile, Tigris-Euphrates, Indus, and Yangtze, and a wide range of climates from arctic to tropical.
